Gynaikes, Mulieres: Mujeres, Dones, Emakumeak, Mulleres de Grecia y Roma aspires to be an innovative and interdisciplinary project in the field of digital humanities that can facilitate access to the cultural heritage of Greece and Rome, not only to students of primary, secondary or university degrees in History, Humanities, Classical Philology, Archaeology or Art History, among others, but also to the general public in general.
GynaikesMulieres favours diversity and inclusion in the field of scientific dissemination and guarantees gender equality, both in the process and content of research and in the future outcome and use of the final product, namely, a tool to work in favour of gender equality, facilitate the transfer of knowledge and contribute from ethics and education in values to the promotion of equality, democratisation and life skills.
No less important, and making use of the gift of multilingualism, Gynaikes, Mulieres: Mujeres, Dones, Emakumeak, Mulleres de Grecia y Roma wants to bring gender in Greece and Rome closer to society, to primary and secondary schools or universities, to citizens, in the mother tongue of each of the autonomous communities of the state.
